Never put Screaming Trees next to Toad the Wet Sprocket. They were fucking legit as all hell on SST and then they got one album off during grunge's heyday. Now I wish I had some of that shit here at work.

Dude if three chord teen bands and songs like that stupid fukking tome about pop culture in the seventies is what you call the "Greatest Band Ever", then I know all I need to know about you.
Not that I did't suspect it already.
I read the thread and noticed that your boytoy bace thinks you were kidding, but I know you better than that.

Warren,
I know in all your attempts to be more bitter than an ass and coffee grounds shake you often overlook things. With that in mind, I must tell you that enolc was making fun of MDT with his comment. Obviously, your preconceived notions of the gentleman were incorrect... unless you'd like to shape them otherwise.
In closing, get back to taking it from all interested parties you glory-holing barrel boy. Fuck the fuck off.
With Love,
Bace

How about you name a couple more one hit wonders from the early-mid nineties and wonder aloud "What ever happened to so and so..."
No, really, do it.
You wanna know what happened? They hit big, didn't follow up, and were cast aside by the industry. Britney showed up and they were forgotten. She will be one day as well...
One or two good songs do not an enduring band make.

When you age into your twenties, you will realize Live put out nice fluffy music that went away at just the right time.

How about Soul Asylum? Happened to see them with Screaming Trees and of all groups, the Spin Doctors years ago. Odd lineup. Soul Asylum was a little bass happy.
